July 1, 2025

Powertrain and performance

The KGM Torres family has added a new member: the Torres Dual-Tech Hybrid. The hybrid variant comes alongside the already available all-electric Torres EVX. The Torres Dual-Tech Hybrid combines a 110 kW (150 hp) 1.5-liter gasoline engine with an electric motor, good for a combined system output of 150 kW (204 hp). Propulsion is controlled by an e-DHT automatic transmission, which switches between all-electric, hybrid and combustion modes. According to KGM, the SUV can drive electrically up to 94% of the time in city traffic.

Interior design and design

In terms of dimensions, the hybrid remains similar to the electric Torres EVX, at 4.71 meters in length, 1.89 meters in width and 1.72 meters in height including roof rails. The design looks robust, with a dark grille and black accents on the C-pillars and roof rails. The interior features a 12.3-inch digital instrument panel and a central touchscreen of also 12.3 inches.

Assistance systems

The Torres Dual-Tech Hybrid comes standard with several safety and assistance systems. Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Keeping Assist and four radars for blind spot detection are among the equipment. Systems such as Autonomous Emergency Braking and Emergency Lane Keeping are also present for added safety.

Versions and delivery

The SUV comes in four trim levels: Bronze, Platinum, Titanium and Blackline, and is available in six body colors. The starting price is set at 39,990 euros. KGM provides a 5-year or 100,000 km warranty on the car itself and an 8-year or 160,000 km warranty on the hybrid system.
