Recognizable, but different: why the KGM Actyon Hybrid stands out

December 22, 2025

This positions the Actyon Hybrid as a stylish addition to the existing lineup. It stands just as firmly on its feet as the brand’s other SUVs, but does so with just a little more allure – it looks chic, sleek and even a tad stately on an estate, don’t you think?

Exterior Actyon: familiar, but slightly different

Put the Actyon Hybrid next to the KGM Torres Hybrid or the KGM Torres EVX and the similarities quickly spring to mind. The light signature feels familiar, as does the hood with its distinct lines and accents. The wide stance and distinct shoulder line also show the family line.

But where the Torres is mostly “straightforward,” the Actyon Hybrid opts for a different tone. The roofline slopes slightly, the details are more refined and the finish looks slicker. The result is an SUV coupe that is less angular and puts more emphasis on style – we don’t think it’s wrong! By the way, there are also differences between the Torres Hybrid and the Torres EVX – you can see them in the video below:

SUV coupe with D-segment size

At 4.74 meters long, the Actyon Hybrid moves neatly into the D-segment. This is reflected in its appearance. It is a mature SUV with a broad and confident appearance. The silver accents, continuous lines across the flanks and striking light signature give it something fancier than you might be used to from KGM, while sharing its base with the Torres Hybrid.

Interior Actyon: comfortable and complete

Inside, KGM continues that line effortlessly. The interior feels cared for and luxurious, with full leather upholstery as standard. Two 12.3-inch screens – one for the digital counters and one for the infotainment system – define the dashboard. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are also on hand, as are items you would normally expect only higher up the options list, such as heated and ventilated front seats, steering wheel heating, navigation and a rearview camera.

Hybrid drive for everyday use

The Actyon Hybrid uses the Dual-Tech Hybrid System. A 1.5-liter gasoline engine works together with an electric motor and an e-DHT transmission. The goal is clear: smooth driving, low consumption – 6.1 liters per 100 km – and moving electrically as often as possible without plugging in. According to KGM, in city traffic, the Actyon Hybrid drives electric up to 94 percent of the time. So you’ll find that especially at low speeds and accelerations, the support of the electric motor comes in handy.

When will the Actyon in the showroom, and at what price?

This, of course, is the Korean brand’s trump card – value for money. The KGM Actyon Hybrid is available in the Netherlands from 46,990 euros for the Platinum version. The Titanium, with the most extensive equipment, is available from 49,490 euros. On top of that comes the well-known KGM warranty for up to 10 years or 150,000 kilometers – whichever you reach sooner – including roadside assistance throughout Europe. Quite a good deal, right?

The official public launch will take place in a few weeks at the Brussels Motor Show and by the end of this month it will be in the showroom around your corner.
