Donkervoort P24 RS: back to Ford engine, hefty price, extremely fast

January 26, 2026

3.5-liter twin-turbocharged V6

The Donkervoort P24 RS is named after Phébe, who was born in 2024 as the second child of Donkervoort CEO Denis Donkervoort. The Dutch supercar uses a completely newly developed 3.5-liter twin-turbocharged V6. This engine – sourced from Ford as AutoRAI.nl already wrote in 2024 – delivers a maximum of 441 kW (600 hp) and 800 Nm and offers a choice of three power modes via Donkervoort’s ‘Power To Choose’ system: 400, 500 or 600 hp. The powertrain is mated to a five-speed manual transmission and a Torsen differential. Dry weight remains well under 1,000 kilograms at 780 kilograms, thanks in part to the extensive use of Ex-Core carbon fiber construction. That’s carbon fiber filled with foam.

Fort-Ex prestructure

The chassis combines a tubular frame with structural carbon fiber components. New is the Fort-Ex front structure, a one-piece subframe structure that integrates front suspension, brakes and crash structures, among others. The suspension consists of double wishbones up front and a multilink construction in the rear, with adaptive dampers and optional adjustable ride height. Brakes come from AP Racing: carbon-ceramic discs are optional, as are magnesium wheels. If you choose both options, you reduce the weight per wheel by 7.5 kilograms and benefit from even lower unsprung weight and better agility.

Removable aero package for Donkervoort P24 RS

Aerodynamically, Donkervoort remains true to the concept with exposed front wheels, supplemented by ground aerodynamics and an optional removable aero package for track use. According to Donkervoort, that package generates 90 kilograms of downward pressure at 250 km/h, with no effect on top speed. Noteworthy are the retractable headlights, visible only when in use.

298 liters of luggage space

The interior is compact but functional in design, with an emphasis on physical controls. There is a digital instrument cluster and space for an optional iPad Mini as an infotainment screen. The P24 RS accommodates drivers up to 2.05 meters in length and has 298 liters of luggage space. The Twin Targa roof system consists of removable carbon fiber panels.

P24 RS for sale worldwide?

The Donkervoort P24 RS has full European Small Series homologation, making registration possible in all countries that recognize EU homologation. This applies to virtually all European countries, large parts of the Middle East and Africa, and selected Asian markets. Delivery in the United States is also possible through an existing homologation and registration process in cooperation with a technical partner in Florida.

Solid price

The starting price of the Donkervoort P24 RS is 298,500 euros, excluding VAT and options. With options, that price can easily rise to over 500,000 euros. Reserving a production slot requires a signed purchase agreement and an agreed down payment. The delivery time at introduction is about 18 months; structurally, it is assumed to be about two years. Donkervoort is also currently investigating the possibility of a right-hand drive version.
