Powertrain

The Peugeot e-308’s powertrain consists of an electric motor with 115 kW (156 hp) of power and 270 Nm of torque. The battery is a 54 kWh (51 kWh usable) high-voltage battery (400 volts) with a new chemical composition of 80% nickel, 10% manganese and 10% cobalt. The range is up to 412 km according to the WLTP cycle.

To use the available energy most effectively, the driver can choose from three driving modes:

BRAKE and charging

Additionally, a BRAKE mode provides additional efficiency by applying additional braking to the electric motor when the throttle is released, thus recovering energy. The Peugeot e-308 comes standard with an 11 kW on-board charger. The charging connector is suitable for all charging modes. At a 100 kW charging point, it is possible to charge the battery from 20 to 80% in 30 minutes.
