Alpine A290 Rallye: a delicious rally bomb!
Alpine A290 Rallye
The Alpine A290 Rallye, developed by teams in Viry-Châtillon and assembled at Manufacture Alpine Dieppe Jean Rédélé, offers teams the stepping stone to electric competition. Designed according to the latest rally regulations, the car is ready to prove itself in various disciplines within rallying. The A290 Rallye is versatile, both within branded championships and in open competition.
Rallychallenge
Before the end of 2025, a one-off rallychallenge is planned in France. There, the first delivered examples of the A290 Rallye will appear at the start for a limited number of participants. This rally is partly dedicated to promoting the A290 Rallye. The event will draw on Renault’s know-how and experience with private teams in motorsport. This will be utilized for high-level technical and sporting support. The participants with their A290 Rallye will receive support in an Alpine-themed environment, including specific loading infrastructure. Depending on the location, renewable energy will be used as much as possible.
Local competitions
In addition, private teams can also use the A290 Rallye independently in local competitions. A number of qualified Alpine Stores in France provide support with an exclusive marketing communication tool and a first-class connection for the drivers and teams concerned.

A comprehensive preparation
The Alpine A290 Rallye fully meets technical safety requirements for drivers and navigators with a welded roll cage and Sabelt bucket seats, both conforming to the latest FIA regulations. The electric motor delivers 162 kW (220 hp) and 300 Nm of torque. A ZF limited slip differential ensures a good transfer of this performance to the driven front wheels. The transmission and electronic control system have also been modified. The A290 Rallye is equipped with the latest electric monitoring systems to take full advantage of EV technology.
Brake discs
The braking system offers 6-piston monoblock calipers and 350 mm front brake discs. At the rear, single-piston calipers with 280 mm brake discs are applied, all with Alpine Racing’s specific racing ABS system. Finally, the integration of the indispensable hydraulic handbrake completes the braking system of this competition version.

Suspension
The A290 Rallye is based on the chassis of the standard A290. The suspension has been modified by Alpine Racing for rally use, including the use of ALP Racing Suspension shock absorbers. The special 8 x 18-inch EVO Corse wheels are fitted with Michelin Pilot Sport A tires. As sound is an important part of the experience for both audience and drivers, a new innovative system will enable the A290 Rallye to produce a sound that matches the speed and degree of throttle.
What does that actually cost?
The price of the Alpine A290 Rallye has been set at €59,990 (excluding taxes, in France) for the complete, assembled and painted car. The Alpine A290 Rallye already has a busy schedule ahead of it. Shortly after its unveiling, it will make its dynamic debut at the Goodwood Festival of Speed (July 10-13) and will be at the start of the Rallye Mont-Blanc Morzine (September 4-6).
