Volvo is already solving source of EX30 annoyance

March 27, 2024

Annoyance solved

To get right to the point: The steering wheel for the new model year features more clearly designed buttons for an improved user experience. With the outgoing type, those buttons are quite obscure. So that problem has now been fixed. Also notable: the EX30 badge moves from the C-pillar to the tailgate.

Adjustments

Cloud Blue is being introduced by Volvo as the new standard color for the EX30, while Vapour Grey is now available as an optional color at a cost of 795 euros. For those interested in the Plus version of the EX30, there is good news: the Power Seat Pack, with electrically adjustable front seats, is now available for 795 euros. This allows this pack to be ordered with retention of the SEPP subsidy.

Additional choice

Good news also regarding the broadening of choices for interior and exterior combinations. This allows customers more freedom in personalizing their car. For example, the striking Moss Yellow exterior color is now available in combination with Indigo upholstery.

Manufacturing in Ghent

In response to the high demand for the car, Volvo Cars recently decided to start building the new all-electric Volvo EX30 at its factory in Ghent, Belgium, starting in 2025, thus expanding production capacity for the EX30. For the new model year, consumer prices for the Volvo EX30 remain unchanged. The starting price remains the same: from 36,795 euros.

SEPP

This leaves as many as four performances still eligible for SEPP grants. The attractive starting price of the Volvo EX30 also means that customers are getting a premium all-electric SUV at a comparable price to an internal combustion engine equivalent. The flexible Care by Volvo subscription, with fixed prices and a transparent ordering process, makes ordering the Volvo EX30 easy.
