Triumph Tracker and Thruxton 400

December 24, 2025

The Triumph Tracker 400 is a flat track-inspired motorcycle, while the iconic Thruxton is a modern cafe racer. Both models combine authentic retro styling with recognizable Triumph DNA and modern performance, at an accessible price. You can ride the Tracker starting at $7,595. The Thruxton’s price will follow later.

Triumph single-cylinder engine

The Tracker 400 and Thruxton 400 feature the latest evolution of the TR series engine. This 398cc single-cylinder produces 42 horsepower at 9,000 rpm. That’s 5% more than before. The result is a playful, lively character with strong performance, without sacrificing usability.

Triumph Tracker 400

The new Tracker 400 is inspired by the raw world of flat track racing. The model immediately stands out with its wide, flat handlebars, custom footpegs and dominant riding position. Combined with a specially designed frame, this provides sharp handling and an active riding experience.

Flat track character

The design emphasizes the flat track character with an angular fuel tank, side license plate, seat cowl, flyscreen and specific wheels with Pirelli MT60 RS tires. Typical Triumph details, such as the round LED headlight, engine block and high-set exhausts, provide a timeless look. The Tracker 400 is available in Racing Yellow, Phantom Black and Aluminum Silver Gloss, each with distinct graphics.

Accessible saddle height

The ergonomics are deliberately sporty: the handlebars are wider and lower than on the Triumph Speed 400, while the footpegs are placed further back and higher. Suspension consists of a 43 mm upside-down front fork and an adjustable monoshock at the rear. With a seat height of 805 mm, the bike is accessible to a wide range of riders. Modern riding assistance systems such as ride-by-wire, switchable traction control, ABS and a slip-assist clutch are seamlessly integrated without compromising the classic look.

Thruxton 400: café racer for new generation

With the Thruxton 400, Triumph breathes new life into a legendary name. A contemporary interpretation of the classic café racer, this model combines sporty performance with refined styling. Clip-on handlebars, reclined footpegs and a specially tuned frame create an active, lean-forward riding position.

Compact cockpit and slim tank

The design of the Thruxton 400 features a slim tank with Triumph badge, a compact fairing around the round LED headlight and a minimalist rear end with seat cowl. Options for the Thruxton 400 include Carnival Red, Pearl Metallic White with Storm Grey and Metallic Racing Yellow, each with sporty contrast accents.

Sport-tuned suspension

The suspension is tuned for dynamic handling, with upside-down front forks and an adjustable rear shock. Sporty Pirelli Diablo Rosso IV tires provide extra grip and confidence when cornering. Modern electronics are also standard here, including traction control, ABS, ride-by-wire and a combined analog/digital instrument cluster with USB-C connectivity.

Triumph 400 for new generation of riders

Both models offer excellent value for money, with long service intervals and genuine Triumph accessories. According to Paul Stroud, Chief Commercial Officer at Triumph Motorcycles, the Tracker 400 and Thruxton 400 build on the success of the 400 series and appeal to a new generation of riders. With these two new models, Triumph offers more choice, more character and more riding fun, packaged in stylish motorcycles that focus on both emotion and accessibility.
