Toyota GR Yaris Aero Performance has special features
Six special aerodynamic parts
The new Aero Performance version of the Toyota GR Yaris is the result of that philosophy and features six aerodynamic components developed with a no-compromise approach to achieve target performance by addressing every issue. Through competitive driving, areas for improvement were identified and refined with the help of professional drivers.
Cooling of engine
A large new cooling channel and grille on the aluminum hood share the same contours as the GRMN Yaris’ carbon fiber hood. During high-speed driving, this improves cooling by dissipating heat from the engine compartment. It was developed and tested in the Japanese rally championship.

Other front spoiler
Racing in the Super Taikyu has helped improve aerodynamic balance through a front spoiler, which suppresses front-end elevator to improve the car’s overall elevator balance and increase grip. The spoiler was added to the GR Yaris Aero Performance after development in collaboration with professional driver Kazuya Oshima, a race winner who competes with Rookie Racing in Japan’s Super Formula, Super GT and Super Taikyu championships.
Adjustable rear spoiler
A large, adjustable rear spoiler contributes to high-speed handling and braking stability. The angle can be manually adjusted for different conditions, such as prior to track driving, for an even more enjoyable driving experience.

Optimize airflow under the car
A new bottom guard is inspired by the flat bottom fuel tank used in Super Taikyu to optimize airflow under the body and further improve aerodynamic performance.
New fender channels, located between the front wheel and the door, expel air that accumulates in the front wheel arch. This improves steering feel during vigorous braking and increases stability when cornering.
Openings in rear bumper
Channels on either side of the rear bumper lower the drag coefficient by allowing smoother airflow under the car. They were developed in the unique, harsh conditions of motorsports, in response to a scenario that occurred on a GR Yaris in Super Taikyu, when a rear bumper broke loose due to aerodynamic forces.
For the first time in action!
The GR Yaris Aero Performance trim will be available to order in Europe starting in the fall of 2025. The new GR Yaris Aero Performance version debuted in Europe at the Acropolis Rally in Greece, the seventh round of the 2025 WRC season, which took place from June 26 to 29. The GR Yaris Aero Performance will also be present at the Goodwood Festival of Speed from July 10 to 13, where the car will participate in the legendary hill climb.
