This police Audi RS Q8 is a great booby trap

Supply problems

Dutch police are currently suffering – as are ordinary consumers – from supply problems in the automotive sector. Police cars that are written off cannot be replaced because new cars are simply not available. Maybe they should store in another segment, they must have thought at car company VD Akker and maXdesign.

Transformed

In cooperation with maXdesign, car company VD Akker transformed a “regular” Audi RS Q8 ABT into a police car. So the car you see in this article is not owned by the police. Indeed, it does not exist at all in this form. The car has been digitally edited. So the better Photoshop work, we almost fell for it too.

Audi RSQ8 ABT

A nice stunt by the car company, which managed to bring attention to the super strong Audi so conveniently. Indeed, the ABT creation is for sale. Obviously without the OOV (public order and safety) striping. For 309,650 euros you can pick up the 740-hp Audi in Best. The car is a year old – it is from February 2022 – and the odometer shows 3,700 kilometers. So you don’t have to drive it in first if you want to try out – across the border, of course – its top speed of 305 mph.
