Renault Megane gets update: new version and updated price list
Megane E-Tech Electric
From now on, Renault is keeping it uncluttered with the Megane E-Tech Electric with three versions: Techno, Iconic and Esprit Alpine. The Esprit Alpine is the newcomer to the range and has a sporty appearance. It is available in Gris Schiste Satin, sits on 20-inch alloy wheels and has dark accents on the logo and window moldings.

Alpine
Inside, it continues that sporty line, with bucket seats, blue stitching and recycled materials. And as a subtle detail: a small French flag on the dashboard. Of course, the Esprit Alpine version is a nod to Alpine, the sports car brand within the Renault Group.

One Pedal Drive
Renault is also making some subtle changes on the compact EV. For example, the electric Megane gets a standard One Pedal Drive feature, which lets you accelerate and brake with the same pedal. As soon as you release the pedal, the car automatically brakes on the electric motor. This results in less wear on the brakes and more efficient energy consumption, allowing you to go just a little further on a full battery.

Bidirectional charging
In addition, the updated Megane now has a bi-directional 11 kW charger as standard. This means that you can not only charge, but also feed power back. Handy if you want to make a cup of coffee or charge your electric bike on the go, for example. In the bottom, you get a 60 kWh battery as standard, good for 468 WLTP kilometers of range.
New prices
The Renault Megane E-Tech Electric can be ordered from 37,990 euros. For the Esprit Alpine you pay 39,990 euros, and the Iconic is on the price list from 41,990 euros.
