The considerably peppery luxury sedan is the third performance model with all-electric drive. Electric motors on the front and rear axles, together good for a system output of 485 kW (660 hpP and an M-specific chassis provide a perfect combination of electric driving and performance, according to the German brand. The new electric flagship accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.7 seconds, making it the fastest all-electric BMW model. Impressive, especially considering that it weighs 2,770 kilograms. Top speed is electronically limited at 250 km/h.

1,100 Nm

The electric motor on the rear axle delivers a maximum output of 367 kW (489 hp). In conjunction with the 190 kW (258 hp) electric motor on the front axle, all-electric all-wheel drive is created. In Sport Mode, system torque is 1,015 Nm and even 1,100 Nm with M Launch Control and the M Sport Boost function enabled. The BMW i7 M70 xDrive features M-specific adaptive air suspension on front and rear axles and electronically controlled shock absorbers, allowing the power to be called upon even when cornering.

Range

In the bottom lies a battery with a usable capacity of 101.7 kWh, good for a range of 588 to 560 km (WLTP). In MAX RANGE mode, range increases by about 15 to 25 percent by limiting power and top speed and reducing the operation of some comfort features. Home charging can be up to 22 kW, and at a fast charger, the BMW can handle up to 195 kW. As a result, it is possible to top up to 170 km of range in 10 minutes at a fast charging station.

Two-Tone

The fast limousine is available with a wide range of body colors. There are more than 100 BMW Individual body colors to choose from. BMW Individual Two-Tone body colors can now also be combined with BMW Individual body colors for an extra distinctive look.

Tightened

The front end appearance of the new BMW i7 M70 xDrive has been redesigned. The grille features contour lighting, giving the front end an even more striking appearance. In the M Performance Pack, the lighting is combined for the first time with a high-gloss black surround for the kidney grille. The side and rear of the car also feature special M design details, such as M side mirrors, M sill extensions and a specific rear bumper with diffuser. In the second half of this year, the fast i7 will hit the market.
