Lexus RZ 300e: when only front-wheel drive is enough

March 4, 2024

With the front-wheel-drive RZ 300e, Lexus introduces a new base version in the RZ lineup. The battery-electric powertrain remains the same, just without the rear eAxle and inverter used on the AWD versions. As a result, the RZ 300e has a lower weight and offers a longer range.

The starting price

The Lexus RZ 300e comes in six trims. The first of these is the RZ 300e Comfort Line. As a Comfort Line, the RZ is already very luxuriously equipped, including the large Lexus Link Connect multimedia system with 14-inch display, cloud-based navigation, “Hey Lexus!” voice control, 10-speaker Lexus Audio sound system, front and rear USB-C connections and a wireless phone charger. In addition, the Comfort Line comes standard with front seat heating, dual-zone automatic air conditioning, an automatic dimming interior mirror, a rain sensor and automatic headlight adjustment for the LED lights. The Lexus RZ 300e Comfort Line can be ordered from 57,995 euros.

Executive Line

The second trim level is the Lexus RZ 300e Executive Line. With three different synthetic leather interiors, steering wheel heaters and electrically adjustable front seats, the interior leaves little to be desired. The Executive Line also features additional soundproof side windows for an even quieter interior and Privacy Glass for the rear side windows. Roof rails and a power tailgate with kick sensor are also part of the RZ 300e Executive Line’s equipment. The version is available from 60,995 euros. An optional panoramic roof (1,695 euros) and a Premium Pack (1,295 euros) can be ordered. The latter package includes 20-inch alloy wheels and a power-adjustable steering column. The Executive Line can also be ordered in three Bi-tone exterior colors, with the roof and hood receiving a contrasting black color.

Luxury Line

The third trim level is the Luxury Line. This trim extends the RZ 300e Executive Line’s equipment level to include 20-inch polished alloy wheels, a power-adjustable steering column, a memory function for the driver’s seat, front seat ventilation, Smart Entry and a Head-Up Display with touch control buttons on the steering wheel. The RZ 300e Luxury Line is available starting at 64,995 euros. Optionally, the RZ 300e Luxury Line can be equipped with a panoramic glass roof. This costs 1,695 euros.

President Line: the top version

As the absolute top trim of the RZ series, the RZ 300e President Line is more than complete. The President Line has standard Ultra Suede seat upholstery, which is available in three colors. With front and rear seat heating, front seat ventilation and energy-efficient infrared heating for the driver and front passenger, comfort is top notch.

For music lovers, the President Line also offers the 13-speaker Mark Levinson sound system as standard. Parking is easy with Intelligent Park Assist and the Parking Assist Camera with Panoramic View Monitor. The RZ 300e President Line can be ordered from 68,995 euros. Optionally, the version can be ordered with a dimmable and heat-reflective panoramic roof. This option costs 2,200 euros.

For business drivers

Lexus is also adding two new Business Lines to the RZ’s lineup, the Business Line and the Business Line Pro. In addition to Comfort Line equipment, the Lexus RZ 300e Business Line features roof rails, steering wheel heating and illuminated door sill panels. This version has a tax value of 55,995 euros.

One step higher is the Business Line Pro. With three different synthetic leather interiors, steering wheel heating, power-adjustable front seats and a power-adjustable steering column, comfort is of a very high standard. Additional soundproof side windows provide an even quieter interior.

The RZ Business Line Pro sits on 20-inch alloy wheels and is further identified externally by roof rails and Privacy Glass for the rear side windows and rear window. The RZ 300e Business Line Pro has a tax value of 60,995 euros.
