Here’s what’s new about the Peugeot 308
design
The third-generation 308 entered the market in 2021 and is now getting an update. On the outside, you can immediately see the differences: a completely new nose with wider grille and an illuminated brand logo that is especially noticeable in the dark. The headlights are placed lower. The daytime running lights look tighter and sit at the top, with three characteristic stripes that represent the claws of the Peugeot lion.

Powertrains
There are advances under the skin as well. The electric E-308 has a larger 55 kWh battery, good for 450 kilometers of range – some 35 kilometers more than before. Fast charging can go from 20 to 80 percent in 32 minutes with up to 100 kW. Power remains 115 kW (156 hp). Those who want more choice can choose a Plug-in Hybrid with 143 kW (195 hp) or the Hybrid with 107 kW (145 hp).

i-Cockpit
Inside the 308, the i-Cockpit continues to play the starring role: a small steering wheel, a highly placed screen and everything focused on the driver. The touchscreen still has five adjustable i-Toggles, but there are also new features. Think materials like Alcantara and aluminum accents. There are also flippers behind the steering wheel to control the degree of regenerative braking yourself.

More smart features
Charging is made easier with Plug & Charge: cable in and the pole automatically recognizes the car. Thanks to the V2L (Vehicle-to-Load) function, you can use the battery to charge an e-bike or camping lamp, for example. Use the MyPeugeot app to remotely control the air conditioning, check the charging status or find your car in a busy parking lot.

Practical and durable
The 308 SW offers the most space. The rear seat can be folded down in three parts and the luggage space then grows to almost 1,500 liters. Peugeot also emphasizes sustainability: more than 30 percent of the materials used are recycled or renewable, including dashboard parts made of hemp fiber and plastics with a second life.

Late 2025 in the showroom
By the end of 2025, the updated Peugeot 308 and 308 SW will be at Dutch dealers. There are four versions: Style, Allure, GT and Business. For electric drivers, Peugeot provides extra security: eight years or 160,000 kilometers warranty on both the battery and the car.
