For sale: huge car collection of Dutch collector

March 28, 2023

By now, some of you may already know who this is about. This collection of youngtimers, supercars and everyday cars belongs to Rick van Stippent. He is the founder and owner of Stipt Polish Point, a car polishing company that is quite well known, especially on YouTube and social media, for making cars “factory new” – a phrase liked by car polishers. Car polishing has certainly not been a bad thing for Van Stippent, because over the years, the entrepreneur has built up an impressive car collection of youngtimers, classics, supercars as well as everyday models from the past.

The car collection of Stipt Polish Point

Van Stippent put as many as 43 cars up for sale. While scrolling through the list, a lot of goodies come along. What about a completely original Alpina B5 and B6, a Renault Clio V6, a Ferrari 348 TS or a 1994 Toyota Supra? There seems to be almost no end to the list. Van Stippent is also quite a Ford enthusiast, as the collection includes a number of special and rare specimens. An original 2000 Ford Mondeo ST200 and a Ford Escort RS Cosworth are part of the collection, but there is also what appears to be a dead normal Focus 1.6 Ghia in Rick’s window.

In any case, what all the cars have in common is that they were well cared for cosmetically and probably spent most of their time inside at Van Stippent. This is reflected in the asking prices, because they are not cheap. For example, in Van Stippent’s opinion, the previously cited “regular” Ford Focus is worth a whopping 24,950 euros! The cheapest car in the collection is a Peugeot 405 SR that should fetch 5,950 euros, but the gap with the second cheapest car is quite large. Namely, that is a 1990 Ford Fiesta RS Turbo that changes hands for 19,950 euros.

Reason for sale

In the video below from a while back, Rick van Stippent gives a tour of his car collection starting at 20:00. Why he wants to get rid of his extensive collection remains a mystery for now. Given the relatively high asking prices, it doesn’t look like the cars are going to leave their current nest anytime soon, but of course it’s just what the fool will give for it. So, who is offering?
