New flagship model in Lexus RZ lineup
The Lexus RZ 550e F Sport represents the new flagship within the all-electric RZ series and is the first electric Lexus in F Sport trim. With a maximum output of 300 kW (408 hp) and instant torque, it sprints to 100 km/h in 4.4 seconds. With this, Lexus takes the performance of its electric models to a new level. The range is up to 450 kilometers (preliminary figure, depending on homologation), which balances sportiness and daily usability.
Direct4 four-wheel drive
Under the skin, the RZ 550e F Sport uses the advanced Direct4 four-wheel drive system. This distributes drive power at lightning speed between the front and rear axles for maximum grip, stability and efficiency. Thanks to specific body reinforcements – such as a stiffer radiator support, additional welding points and reinforcements at the rear – the car responds more sharply to steering movements. The suspension has also been modified: the damping and springs are more sportily tuned, so that the RZ offers more precision and control when cornering. Everything is supported by Vehicle Dynamics Integrated Management (VDIM), which optimally coordinates systems such as ABS, traction control and stability control.
Lexus RZ 550e has Interactive Manual Drive
An absolute first is the introduction of Interactive Manual Drive. Shift paddles behind the steering wheel allow the driver to select from eight virtual gears, mimicking the experience of a conventional transmission. The system adds virtual engine sound, G-forces and a tachometer display for an extra realistic experience. In Sport mode, the drive is also more responsive, while in Normal the focus is more on comfort. Thanks to the M Mode switch, the driver can easily switch between automatic and manual driving, allowing the driving experience to be fully customized.
Smart aerodynamics
Aerodynamics also play a key role. The front bumper contains air ducts that provide additional cooling for brakes, while fin-shaped elements guide airflow along the body. At the rear, an additional spoiler, diffuser and specific bumper parts improve stability at high speeds. The RZ is standard on 20-inch aero wheels that are lightweight and aerodynamically efficient. Striking details such as the blue-finished F Sport brake calipers and the new Neutrino Grey color (in mono and bi-tone) underline the sporty profile.
Sporty atmosphere in interior
Inside, the RZ 550e F Sport exudes the same sporty atmosphere. The seats are upholstered in Ultrasuede and feature blue contrast stitching, while integrated foam technology ensures optimal support and rigidity. Both front seats are electrically adjustable in eight directions and equipped with lumbar support. The interior combines luxury with sporty details such as aluminum pedals, stainless steel entry strips, F Sport badges and door panels with a laser-worked geometric pattern. A 14-inch infotainment screen, shift paddles and multiple driving modes complete the cockpit.
