BYD Seal U DM-i charging

The BYD Seal U DM-i features a smaller BYD Blade Battery, which is free of nickel and cobalt. Charging the battery from 30-80% takes about 35 minutes with the 18 kW-DC charger. A maximum of 11 kW can be charged at home or at the public charging station. In addition to an EV mode, the car also has a Hybrid or HEV mode. In these two driving modes, the gasoline engine provides additional power only when accelerating. In the process, it charges the battery while driving so that electric drive is always available.

SEAL U DM-i Design

Combined with an average fuel consumption of 1.2 l/100 km, the total range comes to 870 km (all range figures according to WLTP).
