4 reasons why you shouldn’t wait for the new Mini

February 10, 2022

The Mini Resolute Edition is probably the last new version of the current Mini. His successor is almost ready. It is expected to be unveiled in the first half of 2022. Still, there are plenty of reasons not to test your patience and pull out your wallet for the Mini Resolute Edition. We mention the following 4 reasons:

1: the Mini Resolute Edition is extra fully equipped

Mini provides standard equipment for the Resolute Edition with Steptronic Sport transmission, Comfort Plus Package, Driving Assistant Package and Connected Navigation Package. Well, then you don’t know much yet. In normal Dutch, this means, among other things: a heated steering wheel, heated front seats, navigation with 8.8-inch touchscreen, Apple CarPlay, a reversing camera and a 7-speed automatic transmission (text continues below the photo).

2: this Mini looks really nice

For example, we call the body color ‘Rebel Green’. By the way, with apologies from Mini to the owners of a Mini John Cooper Works ; the dark green color was previously intended exclusively for their performance. The roof and door mirror caps are in white, but Mini is not difficult about black. We also see certain design accents in the stylish ‘Resolute Bronze’ color, such as the surround of the headlights, grille and taillights.

3: Mini is nice and sporty

According to its maker, the Mini Resolute Edition gives that typical Go-Kart feel of Mini. That is no more than a marketing term for its sporty driving characteristics, but admittedly: a Mini is indeed like a kart on the road. The stripes on the hood (from light to dark bronze), the standard sports seats with a combination of fabric and synthetic leather and the black-coloured 18-inch wheels (except Mini Electric) emphasize the sporty character.

4: plenty of choice

The Mini Resolute Edition is available as a 3-door , 5-door , Cabrio and Electric. So plenty of choice. The prices of the Resolute Edition start at 37,490 euros for the 3-door. With 2 extra doors you can drive from 38,490 euros. Would you rather feel the wind in your hair? The Convertible is available from 42,690 euros. Fully electric driving is possible with the Mini Electric and is possible from 40,490 euros.
