What to do with the car papers?
To turn in your car, you need the registration card and the registration code. Without these documents, the junkyard cannot officially clear the car. Keep this certificate well, because you will need it to stop the insurance and possibly for your own administration. Other old car papers, such as old inspection reports or policy statements, you can then dispose of or destroy yourself.
