Towing weight Volkswagen ID.Buzz GTX

The Volkswagen ID.Buzz GTX with regular wheelbase is allowed to tow trailers weighing up to 1,800 kg. For the long-wheelbase ID.Buzz GTX, this is 1,600 kg. The other ID.Buzz models bring it up to 1,200 kg.

fast charging

The ID.Buzz GTX version with regular wheelbase (79 kWh) is capable of fast charging with 185 kW. The long version with the 86 kWh battery pack can be charged at 200 kW. For both versions, charging from 10-80% takes about 25 minutes.

design

Even at first glance, the sporty slant of the ID.Buzz GTX becomes clear. At the front, the GTX bumper with an air intake in honeycomb design is the eye-catcher. IQ.Light LED matrix lighting is standard. The arrowhead-shaped LED daytime running lights are a new GTX feature. Body elements such as the grille, air guides, exterior mirror housing and GTX logos are finished in high-gloss black. Optional 21-inch alloy wheels are available. In the process, there are several new designs to choose from.

Interior

The sporty GTX feel also lives in the interior. The GTX models are the only ones within the ID.Buzz range with black headliner. The electrically adjustable comfort seats with memory function come in GTX design. In this regard, ArtVelours upholstery in diamond pattern and red stitching finish stand out. Red stitching and accents also stand out on the multifunction steering wheel with GTX designation.

Luggage space

In the five-seat ID.Buzz GTX with regular wheelbase, the luggage space has a capacity that can range from 1,121 to 2,123 liters. The long-wheelbase ID.Buzz offers even more space: from 1,340 liters with the rear seats in normal position to a whopping 2,496 liters. Even with all seats in use, a volume of 306 liters is still available in the seven-seat version. A Multiflex variable load floor with two folding boxes is available for all versions. This allows for a completely flat load floor when the rear seats are folded down.

Samba!

The ID. Buzz GTX with long wheelbase is optionally available with the largest panoramic glass roof (1.54 x 0.93 meters) ever developed by Volkswagen. Electronically controllable liquid crystals are integrated into the roof. As a result, a push of a button or a voice command is all it takes to switch from transparent to opaque and vice versa. With this roof, the tall ID.Buzz GTX revives the Samba bus feeling of the 1950s.

Powerrr!

The ID.Buzz GTX has an electric motor on the front and rear axles creating four-wheel drive. System power is 250 kW (340 hp) and maximum torque as much as 560 Nm. Acceleration from 0-100 km/h takes 6.5 seconds.

The ID. Buzz rolls off the assembly line in Hanover, Germany, and comes to the Netherlands including up to 7 years of maintenance. The ID. Buzz GTX models are expected in the Netherlands in the second half of this year. More information, specifications and prices will be announced ahead of the market launch.
