This is how many examples of the Caterham Seven 485 have been built
Dartford
In a statement, Caterham Cars said the following: “It is with pride, but also a touch of wistfulness, that we announce that the last Caterham Seven 485 has left the Caterham factory. The last model to leave the Caterham factory is an SV chassis example finished in Volcano Red with a black nose band and center stripe, destined for Caterham Kumschick Sports Cars AG in Switzerland, where the car will find a new owner. This is a fitting end for us, as Kumschick remains the dealer who was allowed to receive the most orders: 123 cars.

Caterham Seven 485
The story of the Caterham Seven 485 began in 2013, when Caterham Cars first introduced it to the European market. It was based on a Caterham-tuned, atmospheric Ford Duratec 2.0-liter engine, resulting in the most powerful and fastest production version of the Seven for the continent up to that time. The car was available in S, R and later CSR variants and became an instant success. Depending on the year of manufacture, a Seven 485 had a short-ratio six-speed transmission with 177 kW (241 hp) or – if it was a later model – 165 kW (224 hp) combined with a five-speed transmission. In any case, Caterham produced 583 examples of the Seven 485.
Caterham Seven 485 Final Edition (FE)
To mark the end of production of the 485, Caterham presented the Caterham Seven 485 Final Edition (FE) and the Seven 485 CSR Final Edition (FE) in May 2024. This anniversary edition was limited to only 85 units for the European market: 60 units of the 485 FE and 25 units of the 485 CSR FE. Those cars are now all given up, unless another one turns up at a Caterham dealer. Incidentally, 15 more units of the 480 Final Edition were delivered in Japan. Those are not included in the count.
Adding the 583 units of the regular Seven 485 to the 85 units of the 485 Final Edition, we arrive at a total 485 production of 668 units.
