This festive Lancia Ypsilon is packed with velvet

September 10, 2025

From Y10 to anniversary model

Party! The Ypsilon is celebrating its birthday. It appeared in 1985 as the Y10, a kind of elegant variant of the Fiat Panda. The second generation, simply called Ypsilon, brought a touch of luxury to the B-segment in the early 2000s. The third generation remained in production for a remarkably long time and for many years was the best-selling car in Italy. Meanwhile, the fourth generation has been available in the Netherlands for over a year and two festive versions are now being added: the Edizione Limitata and the Edizione Limitata Blu. Both are based on the richly equipped LX version, but with a more competitive price and extra luxury touches.

Edizione Limitata

So the Edizione Limitata builds on the already complete LX version. As standard, you get automatic air conditioning, a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, a large touchscreen with wireless smartphone integration, and various driving assistance systems. On top of that comes an interior in velvet “Grigio Anthracite,” Blind Spot Detection, as well as all-round parking sensors and cameras. This gives the compact Lancia an exclusive appearance. The electric Lancia Ypsilon Edizione Limitata is available for 32,950 euros.

Edizione Limitata Blu

Those who want even more luxury can opt for the Edizione Limitata Blu. As the name suggests, it comes in the classic “Lancia Blu” color, with an interior in the same shade of velvet. In the front, the seats are heatable, with the driver’s seat also having electric adjustment and a massage function. Also standard is the comprehensive S.A.L.A. Hub Pro infotainment system with integrated navigation. The Lancia Ypsilon Edizione Limitata Blu is available for 34,950 euros.
