Rimac Nevera R
“When we introduced the first Nevera, it almost seemed like we had reached the absolute limit of hypercar performance. In one generation, we had achieved a performance leap that would normally take decades,” says Mate Rimac, founder and CEO of Rimac Group and Rimac Technology, CEO of Bugatti Rimac. Mate continues: “But now, thanks to innovation, the Rimac Nevera R has become even faster and still retains much of the comfort and practicality that make the Nevera a true, everyday usable car. Breaking records is in our DNA and this is where we won’t stop.”
24 world records!
In total, the Rimac Nevera R has already smashed 24 world records. This establishes the car as the fastest accelerating production car ever built. The original Rimac Nevera surprised the automotive world back in 2023 by breaking 23 records in a single day at the Automotive Testing Papenburg (ATP) in Germany. But the Nevera R goes even further. The car is even faster. Every record set by the original model has since been bettered by the Nevera R.
