This bizarre Citroën Ami costs 8,890 euros and looks like Darth Vader
The dark side of the Ami
The Ami has been on the market for five years, so it is time for special editions and eye-catching versions. And striking ís this version. Matte black from head to toe, with white accents and special graphic details. By the way, the name Dark Side does not officially refer to

Black
They clearly did their best in France to make it a little special. The paint is called not just any black, but Black Night. Along the side, the wheels stand out, with a sort of checkerboard pattern of white squares. That black and white motif continues with decals on the rear side panels and at the bottom of the doors. And then that little spoiler on the back: purely for decoration, of course, but we approve. This dark Ami doesn’t take itself too seriously, so a little extra aero would go a long way.

Even blacker
Inside, the dark theme continues. Even the Citroën logo on the steering wheel is all black. Only the bright red cotton strips that serve as door handles provide some color. As always, the smartphone acts as an infotainment screen: via the My Ami Play app and a dedicated button on the steering wheel, you control music, navigation and phone calls.

45 km/h
Under the black plastic armor lurks the same technology as the regular Ami. So it is fully electric, with a range of 75 kilometers and a top speed of 45 km/h. So the Ami Dark Side is not a full-size car, but a moped. Anyone aged 16 and over with an AM or B license may drive it. Just as accessible as a scooter, then, only a lot drier and warmer. The Ami Dark Side costs 8,890 euros including VAT and will be delivered from January 2026.
