Speed Twin 1200 Cafe Racer by Triumph
Triumph adds a special chapter to its rich café racer history with the introduction of the Speed Twin 1200 Café Racer Edition. This limited edition – limited to just 800 units worldwide – combines classic British heritage with modern performance and finishing.

Engineering of Speed Twin 1200 RS
Based on the Speed Twin 1200 RS, the Café Racer Edition adds a very different design. The result is a distinctly sporting interpretation of Triumph’s modern classic philosophy, with clear references to the iconic café racers of the 1960s.

Classic lines, modern look
What immediately stands out is the low, aggressive seating position. Clip-ons, a sleekly shaped mono seat and the lack of pillion footpegs create an authentic café racer look. The brown bullet saddle and matching seat cover reinforce that classic character, while high-quality details such as milled bar-end mirrors and ribbed engine covers add a rugged look.

Beautiful colors
The color scheme plays a starring role in this. Triumph opts for a combination of Aluminum Silver and Competition Green, inspired by British Racing Green. Subtle Empire Gold accents give it an exclusive, almost artisanal look. The finishing touches are meticulously detailed, from the green headlight housing to the matching side panels bearing the number 12.

Sporty with modern technology
Beneath the stylish exterior lies a distinctly sporty machine. The Speed Twin 1200 Café Racer Edition uses fully adjustable Marzocchi front suspension and Öhlins shock absorbers at the rear. The brakes are high-level: twin Brembo Stylema calipers bite into 320 mm discs, while Metzeler Racetec RR K3 tires ensure good grip.

Twin with 105 hp
Power comes from Triumph’s famous 1200cc parallel-twin. With 105 hp and 112 Nm of torque, the engine delivers powerful, smooth power delivery. Thanks to the 270-degree crankshaft and low inertia, the engine feels lively and direct, with a characterful throttle response that perfectly matches the bike’s sporty nature.
Driving modes and electronic driving aids
Although the Café Racer Edition leans heavily on classic design, it does not lack modern technology. Riding modes (Road, Rain and Sport), cornering ABS and traction control ensure safety and control in all conditions. Triumph Shift Assist allows upshifting and downshifting without a clutch, which is a definite plus especially when riding sportily.

Analog and digital displays
The instrument cluster consists of a combination of analog and digital displays housed in a traditional round housing. Navigation, smartphone connectivity and a USB-C connector are unobtrusively integrated to maintain the classic look.
Honoring an iconic culture
Cafe racer culture emerged in the 1960s around British road pubs such as London’s legendary Ace Cafe. Lightweight bikes, a sporty riding position and a focus on performance were central. Triumph was already at the forefront of this at the time – and this Speed Twin 1200 Café Racer Edition continues that history in a contemporary way. With its limited edition, high-quality finish and clear focus on riding experience, Triumph is aiming this edition at collectors and at riders looking for something unique.
Price and availability
The Triumph Speed Twin 1200 Café Racer Edition will be available from March 2026. The price is €21,595. Each motorcycle comes with a Certificate of Authenticity, befitting the exclusive nature of this special edition.
