Skoda Epiq: the next mega hit?
Looking ahead to 2026
On the show floor is the Epiq showcar, a preview of the all-electric crossover that will go into production in 2026. Compact on the outside, surprisingly spacious on the inside and designed according to the all-new Modern Solid design language.
With the Epiq, Skoda wants to show which direction the brand is taking. With its length of 4.10 meters, a range of up to 425 kilometers and a luggage space of 475 liters, Skoda aims at customers looking for a practical and accessible electric car. According to the brand, the production version will even be priced below the Kamiq , currently the entry-level combustion-engine SUV.

Modern Solid in practice
The Epiq is the first model designed entirely according to the Modern Solid philosophy. The design looks minimalist and robust at the same time, with clean lines and clear accents. Inside, everything revolves around simplicity and usability. No excess of screens, but a clear dashboard with plenty of physical buttons. Smartphones can be charged wirelessly, while Skoda’s well-known Simply Clever solutions – such as bag hooks, hidden compartments and smart fasteners – ensure that everything has its place.

When is the Skoda Epiq coming?
Production of the Epiq will begin at the Volkswagen plant in Navarre, Spain. Several compact electric models will soon be built there for different brands within the Volkswagen Group. The world premiere of the production version is scheduled for mid-2026. Until then, we’ll have to make do with this show car, but it already seems certain that the Epiq will play a key role in Skoda’s electric offensive.
