See: 70 Alpine models ride in parade
Living tribute to Alpine’s racing DNA
The moving exhibit brought together models from the 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s, including classics such as the Alpine A110, A310, GTA and A610. Each one was driven by proud owners from around the world.
“The Alpine parade was the perfect way to open the Members’ Meeting weekend as well as our 70th anniversary in the UK,” said Nicola Burnside, Managing Director of Alpine Cars UK. “It was an unprecedented sight to see so many historic Alpine race cars driving around and for the owners an unforgettable experience.”
Primeurs: from classic to forward-looking
In addition to the driving classics, Alpine’s newest asset debuted on British soil: the all-electric A290 hot hatch. The car was first presented in right-hand drive and, along with the current A110 models, formed a bridge between past and future.
For those visitors who preferred to enjoy standing still, several Alpine models were on display, including the ultra-exclusive A110 R Ultime. This 345-hp lightweight sports car sprints from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.8 seconds and is built in an edition of just 110 worldwide.
