Car of the Year 2024

The European election of “Car of the Year” has existed since 1964 and is the most important car award in Europe. In 2021, the Toyota Yaris walked away with the win. In 2022, that was still the Kia EV6. In 2023, the Jeep Avenger was named Car of the Year. In 2024, the battle was over the BMW 5 Series, BYD Seal, Kia EV9, Peugeot e-3008/3008, Renault Scénic, Toyota C-HR and Volvo EX30. The new Renault Scénic managed to win in the end. This edition, four of the seven finalists were all-electric and the other three had all-electric and/or plug-in hybrid powertrains.
