Porsche builds a tulip with 500 hp especially for the Netherlands
Orange
Orange is the color of the Dutch national team, King’s Day and… now also of a Porsche Cayman GT4 RS. The Dutch Porsche importer had Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur build a unique Cayman nicknamed “The Tulip”, a nod to our most famous export product. The bodywork is finished in pastel orange, a hue that is also subtly reflected in details such as the rims, the louvers and even the Porsche letters on the rear wing. Those who pay close attention will additionally discover tulip logos incorporated into both the exterior and interior.

More downforce
This Porsche is not only a joy to look at, but above all a machine to drive. Thanks to the Manthey Kit – a package full of aerodynamic upgrades – the car is even more stable at high speed. At 200 km/h, the rear wing generates a whopping 169 kilograms of downward pressure. This translates into lap times: at the Nürburgring, The Tulip dipped six seconds below that of the standard GT4 RS.

Inside just as special
Inside, the party is just as lavish. Black bucket seats are finished with orange piping, the tulip logo adorns the headrests, and even the key received an orange accent. Porsche adds a few extras. For example, a special chronograph has been developed with the same orange details and there will be a thermos cup in identical colors, limited to 718 pieces.
Premiere in Zandvoort
Fans won’t have to wait long: during the Dutch Grand Prix at the end of August, The Tulip can be admired live for the first time. Not on the grid, but in the Ben Pon Lounge.
