Three new Polestar models

Pictured are the new all-electric Polestar 3, Polestar 4 and Polestar 5. Of course, they are all at least equally interesting, but of the 4 we had seen very little. The photo on Twitter shows well the lines of the “four. For now, we had only seen the 4 under a cloth. Technical information Ingenlath does not yet mention.

Production Version Precept

Of the Polestar 5, we know that it is a production version based on the Precept Concept. The brand – like Volvo, Lotus, Proton, LEVC and Lynk&Co part of Chinese Geely – has already announced that the 5 will get a bonded aluminum chassis with 800V architecture. Thanks to two electric motors, the car should get 883 hp (650 kW) and as much as 900 Nm of torque. Market launch is scheduled for 2024.

Polestar 3

The Polestar 3 has already been officially presented. The winter photo shows another prototype to put the finishing touches on the “i” before the model hits the market from the fourth quarter of 2023. The base price of this model is 89,900 euros for the variant with 610 kilometers range (WLTP) and and 0-100 time of 5.0 seconds. For 96,500 euros you get the version with Performance Pack. It is slightly faster with a 0-100 time of 4.7 seconds, but also gets less far on a full battery charge (560 kilometers).

New design studio

Polestar is pushing hard anyway. The brand recently opened another new design studio in Gothenburg, Sweden. The new facility is located in the woods near the brand’s headquarters. The design studio is located in the building created for Volvo in 1984 by Italian architect Romaldo Giurgola and local architect Owe Svärd. The building has been completely modernized. Here, the brand’s design team is working on the new design language for all models. So also of the Polestar Precept and an electric roadster concept. The Polestar 3 is the first production model to feature the brand’s all-new design.
