The vehicle is somewhat more maneuverable than the well-known Mercedes-Benz ambulances and can therefore get to its destination faster. Another advantage: the roof can be opened. Still: a BMW 6 Series Cabriolet executed as an ambulance remains a special sight.

Incidentally, under the hood of this car with license plate 1-ZBG-61 houses a 3.0-liter six-in-line gasoline engine with an output of 235 kW (320 hp). The car weighs 1,915 kilograms roadworthy and had a new price of 124,333 euros in March 2013. The BMW 6 Series was eventually succeeded by the BMW 8 Series Convertible.
