New electric Mercedes-Benz C-Class: up to 762 kilometers of range!

April 20, 2026

Range and 800V fast charging

The electric Mercedes-Benz C-Class achieves a range of up to 762 kilometers, according to the factory (WLTP). This is achieved through modifications in aerodynamics, a multi-source heat pump and regeneration power of up to 300 kW. The vehicle is equipped with a 94 kWh battery pack and 800-volt technology. On a suitable fast charger, up to 325 kilometers of range can be recharged in 10 minutes. The vehicle is also prepared for bi-directional charging, allowing the battery to act as temporary storage for external power delivery.

Interior and infotainment system

The dashboard is dominated by the 39.1-inch MBUX Hyperscreen, which provides a continuous digital display for both the driver and passenger. It runs on the new Mercedes-Benz Operating System (MB.OS), which supports Over-The-Air (OTA) updates and uses an AI-based voice assistant.

In cold weather, the interior heats up significantly faster than previous fuel models. At an outside temperature of -7 degrees Celsius, warm-up time is halved, while energy consumption for climate control is also lower due to the use of the heat pump.

Safety Features

To increase maneuverability, the car features rear axle steering (up to 4.5 degrees). This reduces the turning radius to 11.2 meters. The AIRMATIC air suspension is coupled with predictive damping, which works from navigation and Car-to-X data. For driving task support, the sedan has several active and passive safety systems. These include the PRE-SAFE curve function and MB.DRIVE ASSIST PRO, a function for partially autonomous driving (this system will initially be rolled out only for the US market).
