MOTORbeurs Utrecht 2024: huge number of new motorcycles
“Extremely positive that almost all motorcycle brands are present again. This completes the offering at MOTORbeurs Utrecht,” said fair manager Malou Peters. More than 20 brands are showing their latest models, including quite a few firsts for 2024. Aprilia, Benelli, BMW Motorrad, Ducati, Harley-Davidson, Honda, Indian, Kawasaki, Kymco, Mash, Moto Guzzi, Moto Morini, NIU, Piaggo, Royal Enfield, Suzuki, Triumph, Vespa and Yamaha are among those participating.
Motorcycle more popular than ever
Tom Crooijmans, chairman of the RAI Association’s Motorcycles section, says: “We see the motorcycle playing an increasingly important role in mobility issues as part of the solution. We know that traffic jams will continue to increase in the coming years and that cities will become increasingly crowded. There will be a greater need for compact and accessible mobility. But above all, of course, motorcycling is also just great to do and that’s why we as an entire industry want to show what we have to offer.”
Motorcycle sales on the rise
You also see it in the sales figures. By 2023, new motorcycle sales are skyrocketing. Even in October and November, more motorcycles were delivered than in the same months in previous years. RAI Association anticipates a continuation of that upward trend in 2024.
What to see 0p MOTORbeurs 2024?
“In addition to activities where visitors can experience the motorcycles for themselves, there will also be a presentation for each brand featuring their highlights and news for the upcoming motorcycle season,” explained Malou Peters. In addition to the brand booths, there are more than 120 exhibitors. These are booths of dealers showing off their motorcycles. And you will find the at MOTORbeurs 2024 booths including motorcycle apparel, motorcycle travel, motorcycle accessories and motorcycle parts.
What to do at MOTORbeurs 2024?
As in previous years, the MOTORbeurs 2024 will also have plenty to experience and do yourself. There is a soccer game on motorcycles: motoball. Children can participate in a mini-trial. Downright spectacle offers the so-called Wall of Death. Motorcycles are driven around in a large round barrel against a steep wall. The motors remain “stuck” horizontally against the wall due to centrifugal forces.
MOTORbeurs Stunt Arena
There is also spectacle in the Stunt Arena, where various stunt riders show their skills. There is a Motor Talks Theater with sessions on matters related to motorcycling, including, for example, photography of motorcycles. Fancy an adventure? Then pop into hall 12 of the MOTORbeurs Utrecht for the Adventure Talks. Adventurers recount their long tours of thousands of miles.
Participating in the Motorparade in Utrecht
Very nice if you have time: the Motor Parade. During the opening of MOTORbeurs Utrecht 2024, on Thursday, February 22, the organization will line up as many motorcycling visitors per motorcycle brand as possible during the ultimate record attempt: with a procession of at least 32 different motorcycle brands, MOTORbeurs Utrecht 2024 will be officially opened.
Motor podcast and live music
In addition, there is a Motormeiden Evening on Thursday nights. ON all exhibition days, there will be motorcycle podcasts three times a day, live music on all days, and you can ride the latest motorcycles on a special test track.
