Leapmotor B03X: Leapmotor’s next hit?
Leapmotor B03X must break three three dilemmas
The Leapmotor B03X had its world premiere at a special preview in Guangzhou. The car is positioned as a “smart premium SUV with long driving range. The car should break three industry dilemmas: that premium must necessarily be expensive, that small cars offer little technology, and that compact dimensions come at the expense of space.
Dimensions Leapmotor B03X
The B03X is compact on the outside but remarkably spacious on the inside thanks to a specially developed EV architecture. It has a length of over 4,200 mm, a width of 1,800 mm and a height of 1,600 mm and a wheelbase of over 2,600 mm.

Up to 500 kilometers of driving range
The new model offers smart driving assistance, an AI-driven cockpit concept and full lifecycle OTA updates. Performance is equally impressive, with up to 500 kilometers of driving range thanks to an ultra-high energy density LFP battery. The exterior stands out with sporty 18-inch alloy wheels, semi-sunk door handles, an optically floating roof and a distinctive “smile” light signature.

Will be spot on
With the B03X, Leapmotor is targeting customers looking for an affordable but premium car for daily driving, as well as new EV buyers who are switching from compact fuel models without compromising on safety, space or smart technology. The car enters the lineup below the B10. That B10 has a starting price of less than 28,000 euros in the Netherlands. The B03X should become more affordable.
