Hyundai INSTER gets one more seat

Until now, the Inster offered space for four occupants. The new Inster E-Motion 5-seater does away with that and offers five seats. With this expansion, Hyundai is not only targeting families with three kids, but also the business market. Think employment agencies and service providers who want to get their people from A to B efficiently.

Range

The five-seat Inster only comes with the smaller battery: 42 kWh which is good for a WLTP range of 323 kilometers. So trips out of town are also perfectly possible, but the larger 49 kWh battery is still only available as a four-seater. The electric motor is good for 97 hp.

What does he cost?

The five-seater offers just a little extra convenience. For an extra 500 euros – bringing the starting price to 24,795 euros – you not only get an extra seat, but also 15-inch alloy wheels, exterior mirrors with LED indicators, a rain sensor and a cover shelf for the trunk. No groundbreaking upgrades, but details that make driving and using the car a little more pleasant.
