Face to face with classics: this was the 52nd Belmot Oldtimer Grand Prix at the Nürburgring!
The Oldtimer Grand Prix – a classic on the calendar
The Oldtimer Grand Prix is held every August at the legendary Nürburgring circuit. Since its first edition in 1973, the event has become a fixture for fans of historic cars and motorsports. What makes it so unique is that you not only admire cars there, but also experience live racing.

The Saturday afternoon was especially memorable: the hard rain turned the track into a slippery track, making the racing not only more exciting, but also more unpredictable. The deafening noise of Formula 1 engines reverberated over the hills, as if you were transported back in time to the (in our eyes) golden age of motor racing. Everywhere you looked there were extraordinary cars. There were exotic prototypes, rare Le Mans winners and unique creations. Many cars that you will probably only see in real life once in your lifetime!

Enjoyment on and off site
Now couldn’t you be there? Fortunately, we have the pictures! Check out an extensive atmospheric impression of the Belmot Oldtimer Grand Prix, by YN Automotive, below. Outside the event, there was also plenty to see for those who love (classic) cars. In the video of Bart Oostvogels, who traveled with a Porsche 911 GT3 to the spectacle on and around the Nürburgring, you can see that even with a little strolling around, you can fully enjoy everything that passes by. Along the boulevard it is a coming and going of special cars. Various clubs gather in the parking lots around the event. From Caterham to BMW, from Morgen to Porsche.
In short, for car spotters and enthusiasts, the Belmot Oldtimer Grand Prix is a true Valhalla. Because, both on and off the event grounds, there always turns out to be plenty of beautiful things to see.
