Sixth edition of EV Experience

Circuit Zandvoort was under high voltage in early October! The sixth edition of the EV Experience brought the entire automotive industry together on the hallowed asphalt, with the aim of electrifying the Dutch car fleet. Maarten Pompen, EV Experience organizer, says: “With as many as 11,297 visitors over three days – a growth of 34% compared to 2024 – we were able to inspire a record number of visitors around solutions in emission-free transport. Our visitors are embracing the energy transition and finding the right solutions from our exhibitors. The energy transition is evolving and growing steadily, the market and the EV Experience are growing along with it.”

42 different car brands

During the 2025 edition, as many as 42 automotive brands filled the pit boxes and paddock of the track. Targets for relationship management, market introductions, premieres and test drives were met and exceeded, according to Pompen. “A number of car brands tapped as many as 750 test drives in three days,” says Martin.

None other than Roland Tameling and Bart Oostvogels spent three days nonstop inspiring visitors and raising their level of knowledge about developments in the EV industry. Talking about knowledge; during the first National AutoQuiz on Friday evening – organized by AutoRAI.nl and Buro N11 – the car industry was tested on their ready knowledge!”, reports Maarten.

Digital car party

LinkedIn took over, Instagram was flooded with content, and with the race track as a backdrop, every visitor felt like a little Max Verstappen and made that known online. EV Experience 2026, the seventh edition

Maarten: “We are building together with the industry towards edition number 7: so save the date for EV Experience 2026. That will take place from September 24 to 26 and will be the event where the market and politicians make big steps to make the Netherlands’ vehicle fleet more sustainable!”
