DS 3 E-Tense Esprit de Voyage puts the accent on luxury
‘Clous de Paris’ pattern
The DS 3 Esprit de Voyage has a number of distinctive features. Starting with a Pebble Grey interior where the dashboard is finished in Nappa leather, complemented by a special embossing in the shape of a map of Europe. The geometric “Clous de Paris” pattern – a legacy of Paris watchmakers’ iconic “guillochage” relief – symbolizes the place where the Esprit de Voyage was developed: the DS Design Studio Paris.
18-inch Kyoto wheels
The Clous de Paris pattern was developed specifically for the models in this collection and appears in several ways in this DS 3 variant, including on the front door entry strips, the badges on the front doors and also as laser engraving in the exterior mirror caps. The 18-inch Kyoto wheels – now specific to Esprit de Voyage – have an Anthracite Grey diamond finish with a matte coating.
Interior
The seats are finished in two high-quality materials: ‘Luxembourg’ fabric combined with Pebble Grey-colored nappa leather. Basalt Black grained leather seat upholstery is available as an option. The floor mats have Pebble Grey-colored piping to match the interior. Additionally, the door and headliner are finished in Pebble Grey.
Based on Rivoli
The DS 3 Esprit de Voyage is based on the Rivoli version. Equipment includes keyless entry and start, the DS Iris System infotainment system with connected 3D navigation, heated front seats, a front center armrest, a frameless auto-dimming interior mirror and sun visors with illuminated LED interior mirrors. The version also has ambient lighting at the footwell, rear privacy glass and LED taillights.
Colors
Nine exterior color combinations are available for the DS 3 Esprit de Voyage. From mono shades such as Platinum Grey, Perla Nera Black and Polar White, to twotone options such as Platinum Grey, Polar White, Crystal Pearl, Artense Grey, Lacquered Grey or Diva Red combined with a Perla Nera Black roof color.
Electric powertrain
In the Netherlands, the DS 3 E-Tense Esprit de Voyage comes with the 100% electric E-Tense powertrain, consisting of a 115 kW (156 hp) electric motor and a 54 kWh lithium-ion battery, good for a WLTP range of up to 402 kilometers. The DS 3 E-Tense Esprit de Voyage will be available to order from Oct. 2 for list prices starting at 42,260 euros (tax value 41,260 euros). This also makes the electric-powered, exclusive version eligible for 2,950 euros SEPP subsidy for individuals.
Esprit de Voyage is the first special “Collection” from DS Automobiles. Several collections will follow in the future.
