After a few years of silence, Hyundai is returning to Europe’s biggest auto show. And how: not with a gigantic SUV or futuristic hypercar, but with a car that promises to be especially nice and agile.

Tight in steel

The Concept Three follows the new design language “Art of Steel. Sounds a bit heavy perhaps, but the idea is simple: shapes and lines inspired by the way steel bends. The result is a streamlined body with sharp edges, wide front and rear light bars, and an integrated ducktail spoiler that adds a sporty edge.

Aero hatch, or just hatchback after all?

The nice thing is that this is no hot air. The Concept Three is the precursor to the Ioniq 3, which will be in showrooms in 2026. On initial drawings, the Concept Three looks almost otherworldly: low, wide and fitted with hefty wheels. Hyundai christens the whole thing “Aero Hatch. The final production version will undoubtedly be a bit more subdued than the sketches, but looking at previous Ioniq models, you can safely assume that this model, too, will soon attract attention.
