Can you really not wait for the Renault Twingo?

October 8, 2025

The official unveiling of the Renault Twingo will take place on Nov. 6, but those who register before Oct. 13 will soon receive priority booking and delivery with the Twingo R-Pass. A nice perk especially for fans who like to be up front.

Specifications to make you happy

Built on the new AmpR Small platform, the Renault Twingo E-Tech Electric joins the range of electric models such as the Renault 4 and Renault 5. Renault is positioning it as the ideal electric city car: light, efficient and agile. Exactly as the first Twingo once was. Remarkably, this new generation Twingo was developed in just two years. The main pillars are a starting price under 20,000 euros and a low weight, more compact battery pack than previously mentioned models and still plenty of interior space. Renault also promises very low energy consumption.

Back to the original Renault Twingo

The new Twingo is clearly an ode to the very first Twingo from 1993. By the way, did you know that the model’s name is a combination of the words ‘twist’, ‘swing’ and ‘tango’? Renault harkens back to this very first version with distinctive round light units with their playful “look,” the convex rear with retro accents and a compact, friendly shape. The sloping hood is also recognizable. In short: this is not an accidental reinterpretation, but a deliberate nod to the icon of thirty years ago.

For those who really can’t wait for the Renault Twingo

So the Twingo R-Pass is for the real fans. Signing up means priority in production and delivery, plus access to exclusive updates and events. So if you’re a true fan of this “artist,” you’d better get in line.
