Renewed Hyundai i20
The i20 has received a design upgrade. The front bumper and grille have been redrawn, giving the car a fresh face. According to the Koreans, its aerodynamic body has further reduced drag, resulting in lower fuel consumption.
Z-shaped lighting
At the rear, the redesigned bumper and dynamic light signature are immediately noticeable. The Z-shaped LED lighting visually extends across the entire tailgate. There are also newly designed 16-inch alloy wheels. The updated Hyundai i20 is available with a choice of nine body colors. A roof in contrasting Phantom Black is optional. Two body colors are all-new, including Lucid Lime.
Interior
Of course, the Hyundai i20’s interior has also received an upgrade. Standard features now include a 4.2-inch LCD instrument cluster, a front C-USB port, second-generation eCall (based on the 4G network) and Over-The-Air (OTA) map updates. Options such as a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, a 10.25-inch touchscreen, Audio Video Navigation (AVN), wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and the latest version of Hyundai Bluelink remained unchanged. Like its predecessor, the compact mid-size car has a luggage space of 352 liters (version with 1.2 MPI engine). With the rear seats folded down, the capacity increases to 1,165 liters.

The updated Hyundai i20 comes with a choice of two engine options. In addition to a 1.2 MPI engine with 61.6 kW (84 hp), the compact mid-size car is also available with a powertrain with 48-volt mild hybrid technology and a 1.0 T-GDi engine with 73.6 kW (100 hp). The Hyundai i20 is available with a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission (7DCT), a five-speed manual transmission or a six-speed manual transmission with Intelligent Manual Transmission (6iMT).
What does the updated Hyundai i20 cost?
The compact Korean has a starting price of 22,795 euros. The variant with the 1.0 T-GDi 48V engine starts at 25,595 euros. With Hyundai Operational Lease, the updated Hyundai i20 comes from 299 euros per month excl. VAT (60 mont./10,000 km/yr.). The private lease rate is from 349 euros per month incl. VAT (60 mont./10,000 km/yr.). The updated Hyundai i20 will appear in showrooms in the last quarter of 2023.
