First impressions: Citroën C3 Aircross (2025)
Citroën C3 Aircross dimensions
The Citroën C3 Aircross – a little brother to the Opel Frontera – has a length of 4.39 meters and a width of 1.79 meters. Its height is 1.66 meters. The wheelbase is 2.67 meters long. The five-seater has a luggage space of 460 liters. Of course, the seven-seat version – not available for the electric version – with all seats in use has much less luggage space, namely 40 liters. That’s just enough for a laptop bag. There is 330 liters of luggage space available in the seven-seater when the third row of seats is not in use. The third row of seats is accessed via the second row of seats, which fold down at a ratio of 40/60. The third row of seats has its own headrests, cup holders, a USB charging point and air conditioning.
Luggage space
The second row of seats in the five-seat version of the C3 Aircross is 65 mm further back than those in the seven-seat version. As a result, you enjoy much more legroom in the five-seater. In the five-seater, there is 1,600 liters of luggage space available when you fold down the second row of seats.
Only the gasoline and hybrid versions of the Citroën C3 Aircross are available with seven seats. The battery-electric ë-C3 Aircross is only available as a five-seater. This is due to the floor height of the car. This is considerably lower in the gasoline and hybrid versions, allowing you to better place your feet. The floor of the electric version is somewhat higher due to the presence of the battery pack, which would prevent you from sitting comfortably if the car has seven seats.
If you look really closely, you can also see that the C3 Aircross is wider and features lower and especially longer front wings. The front bumper also sticks out much further. So they really are different cars, that C3 and C3 Aircross.
