Toyota Hilux GR Sport has a price
GR Sports
At the end of 2024, the all-new Hilux GR Sport will come to our country. This new version immediately stands out for its substantially larger track width compared to its predecessor. At the front, the track width is as much as 140 millimeters wider than that of a standard Hilux, while at the rear this difference is as much as 155 millimeters. But that’s not all this powerhouse has to offer. The suspension and brakes have also undergone a major overhaul for better performance on and off the road.
Tough details
The Hilux GR Sport’s appearance is enhanced by cool details such as a black grille with G-grille and the classic Toyota logo, along with black side bars, mirrors and door handles. At the front adorns an eye-catching silver protective plate and at the rear is a robust black bumper. The distinctive GR Sport logos and striking black fender extensions add an extra dose of sportiness. To complete the picture, the Hilux GR Sport rolls on brand new 17-inch black wheels.
Powertrain
The familiar 2.8-liter engine, which has been in the Hilux since 2020, is also in the GR Sport. The engine produces 150 kW (204 hp) and 500 Nm of torque and is mated to a six-speed automatic transmission. Shift paddles behind the wheel allow for self-shifting. Other versions of the Hilux are also available with a 150-hp 2.4-liter diesel engine.
Sporty sauce
The interior of the Hilux GR Sport exudes extra sportiness with a striking combination of black and red as the main colors. The sports seats, upholstered in black suede and leather, feature red seat belts, silver stitching and perforations. The seats are designed to keep occupants firmly in place even during a brisk ride. In terms of multimedia, the Hilux GR Sport offers a multimedia system with an 8-inch touchscreen display. The top version of the Hilux also comes standard with heatable driver’s seats, a heatable steering wheel, a JBL Premium Sound System with nine speakers, front and rear parking sensors and front and rear LED lighting.
The new Hilux GR Sport is available to order now, as is the updated further lineup of the Hilux. The first units of the Hilux GR Sport are expected in the Netherlands in late 2024.
