Comprehensive update for Audi Q8, including Audi SQ8!

New grille

The most notable changes in the design of the updated Q8 include the revised grille with honeycomb structure and the standard front and rear diffusers in contrast color. The optionally available S line exterior package offers a grille with honeycomb structure. Furthermore, the redesigned Audi Q8 is recognizable by the updated light signature in the headlights and taillight units, which are optionally available with OLED technology and are even customizable on some trim levels.

Here’s how to recognize HD Matrix LED lighting

The road ahead of the Q8 is illuminated by high-intensity LED headlights as standard. Matrix LED headlights are available as an option. The also optional HD Matrix LED headlights with laser light technology, consist of 24 individual LEDs and are immediately recognizable by a blue ambient light incorporated into the headlights. The laser light becomes active from 70 km/h and significantly increases the light range. Also new is the digital daytime running lights. The user can select from four light signatures via the HMI.

Audi SQ8 has V8 TFSI gasoline engine

The redesigned Audi SQ8 TFSI stands out thanks to its newly designed front spoiler, sporty diffuser and impressive exhaust system. The SQ8 can be identified by its grille with L-shaped slots. The larger air intakes feature honeycomb structure over the entire surface of the grille.

Once again, the SQ8 TFSI features a 4.0-liter eight-cylinder gasoline engine (373 kW/507 hp) with fast-shifting eight-speed tiptronic automatic transmission and quattro permanent all-wheel drive. With this engine, the SQ8 TFSI accelerates to 100 km/h in just 4.1 seconds, with an electronically limited top speed of 250 km/h. The updated SQ8 TFSI features standard cylinder deactivation when not all its power is drawn.

Sakhir Gold, Ascari Blue and Chili Red

The optionally available Black and Black Plus packages provide the Audi Q8 with striking, high-gloss black accents around the grille, window moldings and front and rear bumper. To further underscore the Q8’s character, three new metallic colors are available: Sakhir Gold, Ascari Blue and Chili Red. The rim range has also been expanded to include five new designs, ranging in size from 21 to 23 inches. The stitching on the seat upholstery is now standard in a contrasting gray color on the entry-level version. For the interior, there is a choice of nine decorative accents.

Audi virtual cockpit in Full HD

As part of the update, Audi is also expanding its range of apps. With regular software updates and a growing selection of apps, further individualization of the infotainment system is possible. In terms of driving assistance systems, the Audi virtual cockpit in particular has received a major upgrade. It now displays all alerts and traffic information in stunning Full HD quality.
