Chinese QJMOTOR in the Netherlands
The brand will most likely not tell you much at first. However, it is one of the largest motorcycle manufacturers in the world, having been in business since 1985. More than a million motorcycles and motor scooters roll out of its own factory in China every year. The development of the machines is done in-house and so are the engine blocks.
Quality at QJMOTOR
QJMOTOR claims to pursue high quality standards according to IATF 16949 quality management. Again, that probably means little to you, but this is the production standard used worldwide in the automotive industry. One thus also by parent group Geely Group for the cars of the Volvo, Polestar, Lynk & Co, Smart, ZEEKR and Lotus brands, among others. The manufacturer provides a 3-year warranty and uses renowned components such as Brembo brakes, Bosch electronics and Marzocchi and KYB suspension, among others, for its motorcycles.
Active in Moto3 and Moto2
QJMOTOR has various models of motorcycles, from sporty to adventure and from naked to custom bike. In addition, the brand has been quite active on the track since 2022 in the Moto3 and Moto2 racing classes. Since season QJMOTOR has also participated in the World Supersport Championship (World SSP). From April 19-21, 2024, the SRK 800 RR with factory rider Raffaele de Rosa will be on display at TT Circuit Assen.
Models from QJMOTOR
The SRK 800 RR supersporter is all new for 2024. This model is also the basis of the machine for the World SSP Championship. The 778cc four-cylinder engine produces 95 horsepower. There is also a 47-hp version for A2 license holders. The price of this bike is 9,999 euros. With a two-cylinder block, there is an SRT 800 SX adventure at 10,699 euros or a Touring at 11,699 euros.
Furthermore, QJMOTOR offers a lighter touring motorcycle as SRT 700 X Touring with 73.4 hp for 9,599 euros. Naked bikes are the SRK 125 S for 4,099 euros up to the SRK 550 for 6,999 euros. The custom bike offers a choice of an SRV 600 V for 8,699 euros or an SRV 125 for 4,099 euros. The 125cc motorcycles are all 11 kW versions for driving license A1.
