Maserati MCXtrema: of course already sold out
Maserati MCXtrema is limited edition super sports car
The latest creation of the trident brand is unique and distinctive in every way: only 62 copies of this limited edition super sports car will be produced, for a select group of customers. The Maserati MCXtrema is the most powerful track car ever in the history of the Modena-based brand. It was designed for purist collectors and for loyal customers of the brand, as an extreme racer to conquer the most exciting circuits during private testing.
CEO of Maserati speaks out
“The Maserati MCXtrema was designed as a very exclusive product and as a new figurehead for our track cars,” said Davide Grasso, CEO of Maserati. “The project is reserved for a select group of customers who pay particular attention to distinctive details, from its refined and innovative design to its exceptional performance. The MCXtrema embodies the sporting spirit so typical of Maserati’s DNA. It symbolizes a new direction for our brand, with a focus on superior production and the ability to stand out in the world of luxury engines with uncompromising performance.”
Powertrain
For propulsion, a 3.0-liter V6 twin-turbo Nettuno gasoline engine produces 540 kW (730 hp) and maximum torque of 730 Nm. We already know this engine from the MC20, but in the Maserati MCXtrema this V60 engine does have about 110 hp more. This is possible thanks to new turbos and a racing exhaust system. The block now produces 240 horsepower per liter of swept volume, impressive.
