Kia Niro EV Cargo: the van version of the Niro

For the Kia Niro EV Cargo and e-Soul Cargo, the Dutch importer is working with Veth Automotive. The conversion kit can also be removed so that the car can also be sold as a passenger car. Another big advantage of the Cargo conversion kit is that not only newly ordered models can be equipped with it, but also stock or used models. 

Two variants of Cargo conversion kit

Kia provides two variants of the Cargo conversion kit. The Basic Kit includes an aluminum-coated cargo floor, a metal divider rack and two lashing eyes. The Prokit adds four additional lashing eyelets and storage compartments under the cargo floor and between the front seats. The recommended retail price of the base kit is 1,990 euros and that of the Prokit 2,680 euros. These prices do not include VAT.

Both kits are covered by a 2-year warranty. If required, various customized solutions and purpose-built fittings are available. In terms of taxation, there is a lower addition for private use and – until the end of 2024 – the exemption from MRB. 

Powertrain Kia Niro EV Cargo

The Kia Niro EV Cargo has a 64.8kWh battery and a range of 460 km (WLTP). The powertrain delivers 150 kW (204 hp) and 255 Nm of torque. Via a quick charger in the battery can be charged from 10-80% in 43 minutes. With Kia Charge have Kia drivers easy access to a European network of now some 400,000 charging stations where charging and payment can be made with one app and one card.

Prices

The Cargo version of the Niro EV is available in four trims, ranging from the DynamicLine to the ExecutiveLine. The model can be ordered from 38,230 euros, including basic kit and excluding VAT.
