And the new BMW M3 Touring costs…
First estate version of iconic M3
The BMW M3 Touring seemed to be a hit even before its official market launch. So everyone was extremely curious to see what BMW would manage with its first estate version of the iconic M3. Although the recipe captured the imagination, of course, it always takes time to work it out.
Price BMW M3 Touring
Judge for yourself: would you prefer a BMW M3 Touring to an M3 Sedan? In any case, know that for a Touring variant you have to dig a little deeper into the pocket. BMW delivers the M3 Touring only as Competition xDrive. The Dutch starting price comes to 138,967 euros. This makes the M3 Touring 4,119 euros more expensive compared to the BMW M3 Competition xDrive Sedan, which is listed for 134,848 euros.
cargo space
The biggest difference, of course, is in the practical overall package. BMW M3 Touring has a cargo capacity that can be increased from 500 liters to a maximum of 1,510 liters. A power opening tailgate is standard, including convenient, separately opening rear window. The backrest of the rear seat is foldable in ratio 40:20:40. Under the luggage compartment is a substantial storage compartment. A convenient luggage compartment divider net and luggage cover is included. An anti-slip rail for luggage compartment is optionally available.
Performance
Just a few more figures in a nutshell. The BMW M3 Touring is the fourth body variant in the lineup of high-performance models in the premium middle class. After all, you already have an M3 Sedan, M4 Coupe and M4 Convertible. The numbers in a row: 375 kW (510 hp) of power, 650 Nm of torque, 0-100 km/h in 3.6 seconds and a top speed of 250 km/h.
Active M Limited slip differential
Engine power is transmitted to the road via an eight-speed M Steptronic transmission with Drivelogic. M xDrive all-wheel drive has an active M Limited slip differential on the rear axle to maximize traction and dynamics. The focus of the drive is on rear wheels. Drivers can choose from three modes to customize the performance experience to their liking: 4WD, 4WD Sport and 2WD with 100% rear-wheel drive and stability control system disabled. In 2WD mode of the M xDrive system, wheel slip limitation is adjustable in ten stages. You can then also choose an M Drift Analyzer and M Laptimer.
Brakes and wheels
The new BMW M3 Touring also has an integrated braking system with two settings for pedal feel and response. An M Compound braking system is standard. Optional BMW M Carbon supplies ceramic brake discs. In the front, BMW installs wheels in the size 19 inches, in the rear it is 20 inches. Upon request, the Germans will deliver the car on track tires.
