Zenvo Aurora: V12 hybrid hypercar from Denmark
Aurora Borealis
The Zenvo Aurora – named after the rare light phenomenon Aurora Borealis – is the lightest and most powerful street car Zenvo Automotive has ever produced. The car simultaneously marks the beginning of a new era for the Danish brand, with a completely new hypercar design.
Zenvo Aurora in two flavors
“The Zenvo Aurora can best be described as a balance of extremes. We simply wanted to build a no-compromise driver’s car that performed at every level, but without one aspect negatively affecting another. It was approached in a very Danish way, meaning that every component was carefully considered, and we wanted to introduce this style and design philosophy to the hypercar segment. The result has given us two models that complement each other, offer real driving pleasure and, almost as a byproduct, incredible performance,” said Jens Sverdrup, Chairman of the Board and Chief Commercial Officer of Zenvo Automotive.
Choice of Agil and Tur
The Zenvo Aurora is based on a new modular monocoque called ZM1, constructed of carbon fiber. How the car looks depends on the model variant chosen. Zenvo supplies the Agil and the Tur. The Agil is the sportier version, geared more toward track use. The more elegant Tur was developed with touring in mind.
Powertrain
At the heart of all Aurora models is a 6.6-liter quad-turbo V12 engine developed by MAHLE Powertrain. This power source with 90-degree hot-V configuration is placed in the middle behind the cockpit. The V12 produces an output of 1,250 horsepower. The proverbial redline is at 9,800 rpm. Complementing the V12 engine is a lightweight system with three electric motors, together good for 600 hp. All this results in a system output of 1,850 hp. Small note: this system capability applies only to the Zenvo Aurora Tur. The Aurora Agil has a system output of 1,450 hp, as that variant has only one electric motor. So the Tur is the more powerful choice. We list the technical specifications below.

Tires
Zenvo supplies the Aurora Tur with Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires in size 265/35 R20 at the front and 325/30 R21 at the rear. The Aurora Agil has Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 or Cup 2R tires in size 265/35 R20 at the front and 325/30 R21 at the rear.
Market launch Zenvo Aurora
Patience is a virtue when it comes to the Zenvo Aurora, as production does not start until 2025. The first deliveries will take place in early 2026. Each Aurora edition is limited to 50 copies. Production of both models takes place in Præstø, Denmark, where Zenvo is based.
