Most expensive car in the Netherlands

In late June, two French showpieces were registered: a “normal” Bugatti Chiro and a Chiron l’Ébé. The latter is a limited version of the Chiron, of which the French hypercar maker produces only three. All examples of the l’Ébé are dark blue, with “exposed carbon fiber. This means that you can see the carbon pattern through the dark blue paint job. Also, the car features 24-karat gold details.

New record

The two Bugattis – both in the color blue – both received yellow license plates on June 28. The “regular” Chiron carries a price tag of 3.6 million euros. For the Chiron l’Ébé, the owner had to put down 4,064,477 million euros. This makes it the most expensive car ever to be registered in the Netherlands. It is the first car to pass the magic limit of four million euros. The tax authorities will have hung out the flag on June 28, because in addition to 21 percent in VAT, the government agency also received a bpm amount of no less than 192,477 euros for both models.

Bugatti Chiron l’Ébé

The three Bugatti Chiron l’Ébé’s are the last few Chirons to be delivered in europe. They are named after the eldest daughter of Bugatti founder Ettore Bugatti. Engine-wise, the Bugatti Chiron l’Ébé is the same as a regular Chiron. The eight-liter W16 engine produces 1,500 hp and 1,600 Nm. The Chiron goes to 100 mph in just 2.3 seconds and has a top speed of 420 mph.

Expensive toys

The record for most expensive car in the Netherlands was first “in the name” of a Bugatti Chiron Sport. This Chiron had a price tag of 3.7 million euros. Meanwhile, this hypercar has already left the Netherlands. Looking ahead to the future, the new record will not remain in the name of the Bugatti Chiron l’Ébé for very long. According to rumors, a Bugatti Chiron Super Sport 300+ is also on its way to our country. Most likely, this car is going to break the current record.
