Take the headlights. They make the front end instantly recognizable. Not only is the shape distinctive, but also the central lens reminiscent of the pupil of the eye. This is a reference to the ads from 1972, with “The Adventures of Supercar,” just so you know. Wide wheel arches and corner-mounted, vertical taillights are other features of the model.

Charge status indicator

The air intake on the hood of the classic Renault 5 has been omitted from the new Renault 5 E-Tech electric. In its place is a charge status indicator, whose lights form a “5” when the battery is fully charged. The indicator is a playful element, as well as a functional one. This allows the charging status to be read at a glance, even for bystanders.
